Minto Mayor George Bridge has been re-elected Chair of the Western Ontario Wardens Economic Development Committee.
The term for the chair is one year. The economic development plan includes various strategies centering on supporting and informing. Strategic priorities include Regional Workforce Planning, Regional Infrastructure Investment, Regional Sector Strategies and Regional Marketing and Promotion.
Projects for 2021 include Regional Workforce Strategy, Mapping the regions agri-food and manufacturing assets and support for SWIFT 2.0, increasing investment in Western Ontario’s broadband infrastructure.
