Applications are now open for community organizations who want to share in the proceeds raised for the coming Mayors Charity Golf Tournament in Minto.
Applications will be accepted until March 13th with the round of golf taking place on August 10th at Pike Lake.
Non profit organizations in Minto are eligible fitting within 3 different categories including sports clubs, community betterment and service clubs.
Having run for the past 12 years the golf tournament has raised over $130,000 and supported over 40 local groups.
Last year saw $14,000 raised for Minto Pride towards a crosswalk in Harriston as well as for the towns downtown groups, Harriston Rising, All Aboard Palmerston and Clifford Connects.
