Minto Farmers Market Set for June 5th Opening

Market will be allowed to safely operate if stay-at-home order is in effect

The Minto Farmers Market is setting its eyes on June 5th for its opening day.

The market, usually held on the Palmerston Railway Heritage Museum grounds is moving to the Palmerston Lions Heritage Park pavilion in June.

The move comes as there are plans to paint the Palmerston water tower, right beside the museum.

While there will be an increase to the vendors fee for the year, the rate is still affordable as one of the cheapest farmers markets to be a part of.

Should a stay-at-home order be in effect in June, the market is still clear to open as all COVID-19 precautions will be in place to safely operate.
