CAO Derrick Thomson is accepting a new role in Bruce County to act as their CAO.
On Monday, the Town of Minto announced its plans to start looking for a new chief administrative officer as Thomson announced his departure when as assumes the role in Bruce County as of April 18th.
Thomson joined Minto staff in January of 2020 in which he previously was a CAO in Guelph and the Township of West Lincoln.
Thomson thanked his fellow colleagues as well as the business community and residents.
Thompson adds he looks forward to working with Council and Staff to support the health and strong communities of Bruce County as they reopen, recover and grow.
