A fire service agreement approved by Minto will now see the town share a fire service management team with Wellington North and Mapleton.
Minto approved the agreement on March 5th with the other two townships agreeing to it in previous meetings.
Minto Fire Chief Chris Harrow says with the town being the last to give it the green light this will put the agreement in effect as of April 1st.
Under the agreement, Minto, Mapleton and Wellington North will share a six person fire services management team consisting of a fire services director, two deputy chiefs, a fire prevention officer, trainer officer and public educator.
