Minor League Sports Start to Hype Up Again

Upcoming minor seasons also has major impact on parents

All eyes are starting to shift on minor league sports as the nationals slowly wind down.

Return to play plans are all in place in some instances its not enough as leagues, like the Western Ontario AA season made the decision to cancel their year.

As Social Media Manager for the Western Ontario AA Hockey League, Andrew Rodgers says, its not just the players and fans that will deal with the new rules – the parents will be hit especially hard for leagues that will be playing.

“You know you have one parent per kid which is really interesting because then the parents kind of suffer because they can’t watch their kid play and enjoy the sport they want to love. It’ll be interesting to see how that goes for the duration of the season.” said Rodgers.

Many minor and junior league organizations are hopeful to start their seasons by the start of December or the start of January
