Stephen Lecce, Minister of Education, issued a statement today providing an update on schools resuming in-person learning.
In the announcement it is revealed that 4 additional public health regions will return to class on Monday, February 1st.
The regions are Easter Ontario Health Unit, Middlesex-London Health Unit, Southwestern Public Heath and Ottawa Public Health.
Lecce says that those schools re-opening will have stronger masking protocols to include grades 1-3, expanding access to targeted asymptomatic testing, and implementing stricter screening protocols.
Huron Perth and Wellington County will remain on remote learning at this time.
