The Ministry of Education has released a statement clarifying their position about the winter break.
Education Minister Stephen Lecce has announced that after consulting with the Chief Medical Officer as well Public Health Measures table they have determined that an extended break at Christmas is not necessary.
They go on to say they will continue to closely monitor all indicators, trends and numbers to protect the safety of the children, families and front line staff in Ontario Schools.
