With the New Year, it means user fee at waste facilities in Wellington County has gone up.
As of Wednesday, a $10 minimum user fee has been put forward at each of the county’s six waste facility sites.
The new fee is to encourage residents to use the County’s existing curbside collection program.
The fee will apply to all materials brought the waste facilities including waste in yellow garbage bags
