The Milverton Lions have served the community for over 80 years.

The Milverton Lions are currently for the first time, hosting an online silent auction.

Proceeds from the silent auction will go back to directly helping the community such as the Knollcrest courtyard re-development, The Greenwood Forest Walk Trail, supporting youth programs and much more.

Jody Satchell, who’s served with the Lions Club for 15 years says there’s plenty to bid on, from a ride in a 1909 Model T Ford to meat for your smoker.

“Gift certificates, there’s steaks and pies, meat boxes for your smoker. Our crème de la crème, we have a 2 night stay for up to 16 people at Serenity at Lake Lauzon in Blind River, Ontario.” said Satchell.

Satchell adds what keeps the Milverton Lions Club going strong has been the amazing support from the town and surrounding community.

“The town has always been an excellent supporter for all of our events. Keep up the great Milverton and surrounding areas.”

Bids can be submitted until 7pm on Saturday September 18th, with pickup arranged for September 20th from 3-7pm at the Lions Park Gazeebo.
