The first annual Atwood Memorial Tree Ceremony will be held later this month with Brenneman Funeral Home.
The annual tree planting at Atwood Lions Park ended recently due to the park being at its capacity for trees.
The tree planting however can live on with the now Atwood Memorial Trail. Trees will now be planted along the trail stretching from Henfryn to Listowel.
The first tree planting will take place on June 25th at 2pm at the Atwood Memorial Trail at the intersection of Queen and Arthur.
Those who wish to attend are asked to RSVP by contacting the funeral home.
