The Wellington County Museum and Archives is commemorating Remembrance Day with more than 500 memorial markers being placed on the front lawn.

Each marker bears a name honouring local soldiers who died during WWI, WWII, the Korean War and Afghanistan.

Starting November 5th, Royal Canadian Legion members will read the names of the fallen with the ceremony taking place at 10:30am.

On November 10th starting at 5:30pm, a remembrance candle will be placed at each memorial and will stay lit until November 12th.
