There has been a change to masking requirements at Listowel Wingham Hospital Alliance sites.
As of Thursday, masks are no longer required but will be encouraged in most clinical areas throughout the hospitals.
Masks will continue to be required in various situations with healthcare workers in emergency departments being required to wear N95 masks when providing direct patient care due to measles activity in both communities, for any patient based on a point of care risk assessment, for anyone with symptoms of a respiratory infection such as fever, cough or sore throat.
Signage has been placed to reflect these changes.
