Canadians should get ready to vote as Prime Minister Mark Carney is expected to call an election on Sunday.
Coming from the Canadian Press, Carney will make the call this weekend with a snap election set for April 28th.
Carney was sworn in as Prime Minister on March 14th, replacing Justin Trudeau who resigned and this had led to calls from the opposition to call an election.
A poll by the Angus Reid Institute showed the Liberals to be above Poilievre and the Conservatives since Carney took office at 42 per cent whereas previously the Liberals had tanked to a near all time low at 16 per cent.
