The process to develop a water and wastewater master plan in Mapleton township is underway.
A study is being conducted which includes a review of background conditions, identification of growth needs as well as planning, production and creation of a problem/opportunity statement.
Eric Longworth of CIMA engineering consultants says they were working on a range of solutions for urban areas and in growth areas and develop proper criteria to enable them to identify recommended solutions for all the infrastructure needs for Mapleton.
Longworth adding they will be reviewing documents for water supply in Drayton and as well for the wastewater treatment plant.
