While the Township of Mapleton considers lowering the speed limit and create a traffic calming policy, the Township for the time being is introducing new signs.

The signs are encouraging drivers to slow down.

The Township so far has around 75 signs remaining of the 100 which were ordered and can be picked up at the township office in Drayton.

Residents interested in getting a lawn sign to encourage drivers to slow down can visit 7265 Side Road 16 with a donation to the Drayton Area Food Bank for a sign.
