The Township of Mapleton announced today that they have been announced as recipients for funding for water infrastructure projects through the Green Infrastructure Stream of the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program.
The Federal government is funding over $1.9 million, and the Province over $1.6 million towards the Moorefield Water System Renewal Project. The Municipality is putting in just over $1.3 million.
Mayor Gregg Davison says they are extremely pleased to see Mapleton receive the funding to help them continue supplying safe drinking water.
