Mapleton Fire & Rescue announced today that their Deputy Chief Tom Wood will complete his 32nd and final year with Mapleton Fire & Rescue.
They add he has been a steady and unwavering leader with a kind-hearted spirit, a skilled mechanic always ensuring their firetrucks are in tip top shape and someone who will be deeply missed around the Moorefield station.
They thank him for his unwavering commitment and dedication and they wish him a retirement filled with joy, relaxation and new adventures.
