Hanover Police have arrested a 40 year old who tried fleeing from police.
On June 12th police received a report of a black Mitsubishi Outlander in a driving complaint by South Bruce OPP.
Later in the day just before 3pm Hanover Police spotted the vehicle in question on 2nd Street but the man fled the scene at a high rate of speed in a dangerous manner and no pursuit was done due to public safety.
On June 18th the 40 year old man was arrested without incident who was seen in the passenger seat of another vehicle during a traffic stop in Hanover.
The man has been charged with Failing to Stop for Police, Driving Under Suspension, Driving While Prohibited and Flight from Police.
