Hockey players went out to raise money to help the family of a teammate.
Ty Pollard is a 17-year-old from Lucknow who is currently in a London hospital recovering from a brain injury after a serious car crash with his parents staying at Ronald McDonald House in London.
Tyler McDougall and Nick Ward came up with TP Strong window stickers to raise money for Ty’s family.
McDougall says it was something he felt he needed to do.
“They’ve been there for about two months now. Without Ronald McDonald house there is no way you could afford to stay in a hotel for that long.” said McDougall
TP Strong has raised over $8,120 and McDougall says there is still a small number of stickers left for sale at $5 each.
