Lonely No More Service Providers and the Municipality of North Perth are teaming once again to provide a skill-enhancing virtual workshop series for rural, older adults next month.
The topics covered over the 4-part webinar include how to have a coaching conversation, how to provide peer support and how to help others navigate & find resources they need.
At the end of the workshop series you are also able to make a positive impact in the community by registering to become a volunteer with the Lonely No More Program.
The program is a social engagement initiative designed to support rural & remote older adults. It is a weekly phone-based program for isolated seniors.
Registration is open for those that want to enhance their skills and heed the call to create connection in North Perth and neighbouring regions.
The program starts Thursday, September 8th from 1:30 until 3:30 pm. It runs for 4 consecutive weeks.
