Launch Pad Youth Activity and Technology Centre is a regional not for profit centre that promotes skills development in youth aged 12 to 18 years of age.
The centre located in Hanover just recently launched a business venture serving up cold refreshment entitled Neptune Scoops.
The ice cream truck is operated by 7 young people with almost every aspect of the business developed by the teenagers themselves.
Justin Graham Program Manager at Launch Pad YATC tells us more.
“They came up with the name, the menu items, did the cost adjustment average for all the stuff they are selling and all of the financial stuff as well.”
