Monthly unemployment numbers has continued to show the Stratford-Bruce Peninsula Economic Region has one of the lowest in the province.
The Four County Labour Market Planning Board says February’s unemployment rate jumped 0.2 percentage points to six per cent.
The region’s population grew by 300 while the labour force dropped by 600 people.
Employment gains were seen in the services producing sector, public administration as well as business, building and other support services.
Some drops were seen in the goods producing sector and agriculture.
