The unemployment rate across the Stratford region saw a drop of 4.2 per cent in September.
Monthly job numbers from the Four County Labour Market Planning Board saw various job gains across the Stratford-Bruce Peninsula Economic Region in forestry, fishing and mining.
Losses were seen locally in recreation, culture and information. Job wise a loss of 900 was reported with 600 full time jobs were added in September with a loss of 1400 part time.
