It’s an up and down mix for how schools in Listowel have been placed in the Fraser Institute rankings.
The annual rankings of schools is drawn up from EQAO test scores with most schools in the province given a ranking from 1-10.
St Marys School was the highest ranked locally at 7.6 or 532 of the 3052 schools ranked. Listowel Eastdale was slightly behind at 7.5 or ranked 589th.
Listowel DSS sits with a score of 5.2 or 532nd while North Perth Westfield was well down with a score of 3 or ranked 2860th.
Elma Township was given a 7 ranking. North Woods Elementary sits with a 4.5 rank with Mornington Central at 1.9.
