The Stratford-Perth mental health agency “Resilience Huron Perth” has seem it’s board dismissed and it’s Executive Director terminated.
The moves come only a few months after the organization, formerly a branch of the Canadian Mental Health Association, became independent after the Ontario office decided to separate themselves from what is now Resilience Huron Perth.
The changes come after a report from Ontario Health raised issues with how the local organization was overseen. Issues included term limits for individuals, meeting protocols and how they involved management and a way for staff to raise issues externally when needed.
Clients of the locations around Huron and Perth Counties will not be impacted by the change.
