Nearly 100 schools in Wellington County, Guelph and Dufferin are taking part in Live Free Day this morning.
The day invites students to give back to the Food and Friends program in school which has a student give up something special to support hungry kids who aren’t able to provide food.
The goal is to hopefully raise enough to have 30,000 meals in 30 days which as of March 2nd was already $2500 away from the goal.
The Live Free campaign is an annual fundraising campaign for the foundations school Food and Friends Program.
