The Listowel Wingham Hospital Alliance updated their visitor restrictions as of last Friday (April 16, 2021).
Under the changes general visiting is not permitted in person.
If family of a patient would like to do a virtual visit they can call the Recreational Therapist at extension 5464 to arrange.
One essential visitor is permitted for pediatric, obstetrics, patients needing support and emergency/outpatients requiring support.
This essential person must stay the same throughout the hospital stay.
Palliative patients nearing end of life are allowed 2 visitors per day, one admittance per day and may visit together.
Screening will be done on entry, visitors must wear a provided mast for entire visit and movement must be limited in the hospital for the visit.
