With the provincial stay-at-home order lifted, the Listowel-Wingham Hospital Alliance has updated their visitor guidelines.
In-person visiting for inpatients is set to resume. Inpatients will be able to identify one person as their visitor in which they’ll be able to schedule daily visits.
Visits will need to be pre-schedule with hospital screening staff to ensure the safety of everyone.
Visitors will be restricted to the patients room and must wear a mask at all times while in the hospital. Visitors will not be permitted to dine with patients in their rooms.
Visitors will also not be permitted to accompany patients to the emergency department or outpatient appointments unless requested by staff.
