It’s a milestone for the Listowel Wingham Hospital Alliance who have been awarded Accreditation with Exemplary Standing by Accreditation Canada.
This is the highest accreditation rating awarded by Accreditation Canada and shows the hospital alliance has met rigorous evidence informed standards and a commitment to safety, quality and continues improvement.
Jodi Houston, Manager of Patient Experience, Accreditation and Health Disciplines says they don’t intend to slow down and instead build on this honour.
“Healthcare is ever changing and we’re committed to innovation and continuous improvement and our focus moving forward is to continue to provide safe, high quality care and prepare for future opportunities.” said Houston.
Esther Millar, President and CEO of the Hospital Alliance adds this result isn’t accidental and is a product of a deliberate focus on continuous improvement and shared commitment to providing safe, high quality care close to home.
