Veterans of squash or those who just want to try it out for the 1st time have their chance to do so this afternoon down at the Listowel Squash Courts.
The facility is holding their open house and member appreciation bbq running from 5-8pm today.
The open allows those to check out the facility, take advantage of deals and also give squash a try on the courts in town.
Alan McArthur with the Listowel Squash Courts says their members range from experts to those just getting started so any skill level is welcome.
“We have some very very good members, but we also have beginners. We have people who are just starting out and have caught the squash bug and have gotten really into it. You can really see their progress” said McArthur.
The bbq is open for all to grab a free hotdog or hamburger while seeing what all the squash courts have to offer.
