The Listowel School of Dance is celebrating not just one but two big wins at the first competition the season since pandemic restrictions eased.
Dance Company Director Jane Laurin says the awards were for two Teams of their performers at the Competition in London.
“They were team awards. We won top studio for our pre-competitive division and top studio for the novice divison of the dance competition we were at. It means that all of our numbers averaged together those scores were the highest of all of the studios that were there.”
The studio offers programs for both the casual dancer and those that want to dedicate, what Jane says adds to tens of hours per week, towards their dance artform.
