Perth County OPP in part with Police Week are encouraging everyone to join in on the Listowel OPP Detachment BBQ being held at the detachment parking lot tomorrow.
Running from 10am-2pm the community is welcome to build relationships with local police as well as check out equipment, police vehicles and meet with guests from the Huron & Area Search and Rescue team.
OPP Constable Jill Johnson says this is a great event to build citizens with their local law enforcement.
“I think its important that we do build those relationships and we talk with our community and if anyone has questions, please come out.” said Johnston.
The event is being held rain or shine.
