Work continues to see the future of the Listowel Memorial Park.
Council had spent many meetings discussing the matter including certain design concepts.
The call is now out as part of the Memorial Park Committee for new members to join and have their say about the future and continued work for the memorial park.
Jerry Rozendal, Chairman of the Listowel Memorial Park Committee says the plan will always make sure to include the memory of those lost in the tragic arena collapse.
“In my opinion, an excellent memorial is planned for the area. The park itself is kind of keeping the concept of the old arena that was there. There is a centre ice marker, corner markers, there’s a memorial space, an arena board sculpture” said Rozendal.
