Regardless of the time of year, supporting local food banks is always the way to go.
More people this year have been turning to food banks for help and Listowel Kinsmen have been doing their part. With one successful food drive they have another ready to go for next month on November 7th. Jeremy Reid, of the Listowel Kinsmen says its the community drive that makes these so successful.
“We’re supporting the Salvation Army Food Bank. Coming into the Christmas season so we’d like to get as many people out to donate whatever they can. Community members are what make things like this so successful.” said Reid.
If you want to donate any goods for the drive on November 7th, it will run from 11-4 with a drop off at the Kin Station.
