The Listowel Kinsmen are gearing up for their food drive for the Salvation Army this coming Saturday.
The Kinsmen will be set up at the Kin Station at 555 Binning Street West from 11am-4pm.
Items like canned pasta, canned fruit, Kraft Dinner and toilet paper are among notable items needed, but any non perishable will also be greatly accepted. Hygiene products as well will be taken.
Jeremy Reid from the Listowel Kinsmen says those in need locally is something they always want to be able to help whenever they can.
“Food insecurity in Listowel and the community in general is something we’d love to eliminate completely but if we can give a hand wherever one is needed we’re more than willing to do that.” said Reid.
