The Listowel Memorial Hospital’s Obstetrics Department will be closed until mid-September 2024.
This comes as six to eight full time registered nurses in the department will be off for maternity leave.
All staff in the department are passionate for the program and remain committed to reopening as soon as possible.
Patients and families can expect conversations with their primary career obstetrics provider regarding their care options during this temporary service interruption.
