The Listowel Curling Club is looking to get back into its grove and encourage its next wave of members to join in.
Those who either new to the sport or are a seasoned expert all are welcome to get involved.
With a slew of learning to curl sessions coming up in October the club is inviting everyone out and learn more.
Doug Johnston says this is a great way to get out, meet new people and enjoy the ride.
“You’re on the ice learning a lot, you have some fun back and forth and you can go right from being talking to doctors to electricians, farmers and politicians. The conversation can go anywhere. ” said Johnston.
Various leagues are available for those to become a part of from Monday Night Mens to Thursday Ladies and Friday’s Farmers and Friends. Leagues are hopeful to start in mid-late October.
