Listowel’s population has boomed since the last census, leading across Perth County in growth.
From the last census posted 2016 to 2021 Listowel’s population grew by 9539, a jump of 26.7 per cent when compared to 2016.
This increase drives North Perth’s total up to 18.3 per cent for a total of 15,538.
The increase based on percentage leads across the area as Stratford’s growth increased 5.6 per cent, though the number increase reached 33,232 in the city.
Elsewhere, Mitchell grew 5.7 per cent and Milverton saw an additional population increase of 1,797 or 13.3 per cent.
