One of Stratford’s largest festivals in recent years has received support from the city financially for the firs time.
Stratford’s Finance and Labour Relations Committee has approved support for the Lights on Stratford Festival with a $150,000 contribution for the 2023-24 season.
This marks the first time the city has given financial support for the event which began over three years ago.
Lights on Stratford began as an outdoor lights festival in the city during the height of the pandemic but has stuck around becoming an economic drive for Stratford.
