Junior Achievement South Western Ontario received a nearly $115,000 investment from Libro Credit Union, setting even more youth up for success with critical life skills that aim to break the cycle of poverty.
The SWO charter is a product of the amalgamation of Waterloo Region and other chapters that now cover the full Southern Ontario region.
The investment from Libro will be directed over 2 years to fund the delivery of 115 financial literacy programs (55 in 2021 and 60 in 2022) reaching 2875 students from Grade 4 to High School.
The investment will also support the JA London & District Hall of Fame and Waterloo Region Entrepreneur Hall of Fame galas.
