Local talent shined in Listowel last week during the AMDSB local Skills Ontario Competition.
Held at Listowel District Secondary School on April 3rd, students from three high schools took part in team of two carpentry and welding.
LDSS Grade 12 student Julian Craiovan took part in a welding event, competing for a qualifying spot at Fanshawe College who he and Carson Van Fleet from St Marys DVCI advancing to the competition which took place April 5th.
Van Fleet placed first overall who will now head to the provincial championship May 6th in Toronto.
