If you’re thinking of running for your local council, your deadline is soon.
Nominations must be submitted for interest for Mayor, Deputy Mayor, Councilor or School Board Trustee by this afternoon at 2pm.
Depending on where you live nominations must be filed in person at your municpal office or by email to your town’s clerk.
This also acts as a good time for residents to verify they are eligible to vote in the fall election as campaigning will soon begin.
The municipal election is set for October 26th.
