Todd Kasenberg has put his name forward to run for Warden in Perth County.
Jim Aitcheson, who serves currently as the Warden has announced he will not seeking a 4th term. Aitcheson, who in municipal election just a few weeks ago was acclaimed for the role as mayor-elect in Perth South.
The role of Warden will be decided in December, elected by members of Perth County council.
As it currently stands, Kasenberg is the only member of council to put his name forward which this term will welcome three new councilors to the table.
Councilors can declare their interest in running as Warden at the inaugural meeting of the term on December 1st.
