Perth County OPP were seen in a heavy presence in Gowanstown early Wednesday morning.
OPP recieved a report of a suspicious vehicle at a business on Perth Road 164 at 2:30am. The suspect entered a fenced property and was in the process of stealing a trailer and heavy equipment.
When officers arrived, the suspect fled on foot.
The suspect is described as male wearing all black clothing. OPP are attempting to determine if the vehicle involved was stolen
