Another Festive RIDE Campaign has ended and across the West Region nearly 2000 RIDE checks were done across the 13 OPP detachments.
The campaign which ran from November 21st-January 1st saw 292 impaired driving charges laid with 19 given warn range suspensions.
These numbers are down from last year with 2446 RIDE checks done in 2023 with 353 impaired charges and 55 warn range suspensions given.
