The Wingham Ironmen are hoping a neutral site home game in Lucknow tonight will be the change they need to come out on the spoiling side to tonight’s matchup with the North Pollock Division leading Mitchell Hawks.
The Ironmen sit at 8 and 4 on the season so far with 43 goals for and only giving up 28.
They face a Mitchell team with only 2 losses in 12 contests and a goaltending tandem of Tyler Parr and Bradley Boville that has only given up 14 goals on an unbelievable 352 shots.
Mitchell has been firing on all cylinders with leading scorer Left Winger Tyson Hall notching an impressive 14 goals and 6 assists in 12 games so far this season.
Next on the list but no less impressive is Centre Evan Dowd with 6 goals and 10 assists in just 9 games played.
Puck drop at Lucknow Arena tonight is 8pm.
The Ironmen return to the North Huron Wescast Community Centre on Sunday to face the Walkerton Hawks. Puck drop then is 7:30pm.
