Impaired Stratford Driver also Charged for Drug Possession after North Perth Crash

Driver not injured in the Crash but found to be in possession of Multiple Schedule 1 Substances and Paraphernalia.

Perth County OPP have charged a Stratford resident with drug trafficking as well as impaired driving following a collision in North Perth.

Officers were called to a single vehicle collision on Line 58 in North Perth on February 1st just after 9pm.

The driver was not injured in the collision but showed signs of impairment. They were arrested and taken to the detachment for further testing. The accused was also found in possession of a quantity of drugs and drug paraphernalia.

A 32 year old male of Stratford has been charged with impaired operation, possession of a a schedule 1 substance meth, cocaine and an opioid.

They have been released from custody and are set to appear at a Stratford court to answer to the charges.
