Huron-Perth reporting 19 new cases of COVID-19. The breakdown in Huron is 10 in Huron east and 1 in ACW, Howick, Morris Turnberry and South Huron. There is 1 new case in Perth East and 3 in Stratford.
Caressant Care in Listowel currently has 43 residents and 27 staff with COVID-19 on the nursing home side. There are 40 active cases on the retirement home side with 30 residents and 10 staff.
Wellington County is reporting 11 new cases of COVID-19 from over the weekend 28 recoveries. Active cases drop to 71, from 89 on Friday as total recovered since the start of the pandemic goes over 800. Wellington County also reporting 1 out of hospital with 1 new death. 18 have died from COVID-19 in Wellington County.
Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health is reminding anyone who had a COVID-19 vaccine appointment booked this week – its been canceled. The only exception for vaccinations are for those in long-term care and retirement homes due to a delay in shipments from both Moderna and Pfize
