Huron Perth Public Health release recomendations for Halloween

Social distancing precautions should be taken

Huron Perth Public Health has released their recommendations in regards to Halloween Saturday night. Here is Rebecca Hill from HPPH with more.

“Huron Perth Public Health is recommending that if you are going to go out and Trick or Treat that you go with only members of your household.

That you Trick or Treat outside, Wear your face covering. You can incorporate this into your costume if that is a fun way to do it. Don’t congregate at doorsteps and remember to keep 2 meters apart from the people in front of you.

Avoid high touch surfaces and objects like railings and door handles. Always wash your hands often and thoroughly and use hand sanitizer.

If you are giving out treats we recommend that you don’t leave them in a bucket or a bowl to grab but instead can consider using tongs or similar tools to hand out treats to your Trick or Treaters.”
